This course will prepare you to pass the TWRA 600 exam.

Steps to Your TWRA 600 Wallet Certificate

Step 1 Take the Tennessee Boaters Education - Boating Safety Course, The Tennessee Boaters Education Safety Course Certificate shows proof that you have successfully completing a nationally-approved boating safety course accepted by the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency.
Step 1 In order to receive the TWRA 600 Boating Certificate from TWRA the students must purchase a $10, type 600 boating exam permit from a licensing agent (a place where hunting and fishing licenses are sold for TWRA).

Step 1 Take the TWRA 600 exam. Go to a TWRA Testing sight and take the TWRA 600 exam. Locations and times will be sent to you along with your certificate from Tennessee Boaters Education.

This boating safety course is approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA), accepted by the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA), and recognized by the United States Coast Guard Office of Boating Safety.

New Law For Tennessee Boaters

Effective January 1, 2005, anyone born after January 1, 1989, operating boats (or PWC) on Tennessee waters must show proof of successful completion of a nationally-approved boating safety course accepted by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. Anyone born after January 1, 1989 operating boats who lives in Tennessee must take the TWRA examination. Upon successfully passing the TWRA exam, TWRA will issue a TN boating education certificate in the form of a wallet card.
